The TANK 300L is the extended long-wheelbase PHEV evolution of GWM's iconic off-road SUV. Featuring a 3,010 mm wheelbase (260 mm longer than standard), it offers two plug-in hybrid powertrains: the heavy-duty Hi4-T (non-decoupled 4WD with 3 locks) and the high-performance Hi4-Z (560 kW dual-motor, 4.3s 0–100 km/h, 200 km EV range), combining true off-road capability with urban comfort.
The TANK 300L expands GWM’s off-road lineup into the mid-size SUV segment. By shifting the front axle forward by 260 mm and stretching the wheelbase to 3,010 mm, the TANK 300L achieves an optimized 50:50 axle weight distribution, superior high-speed pitch control, and significantly enhanced rear legroom and cargo capacity compared to the standard wheelbase model.
Dual-Architecture Electrified Powertrains
Hi4-T Hardcore Architecture: Pairs a 2.0T turbocharged engine with a 9HAT transmission and front electric motor (310 kW / 750 N·m combined output). Uses a mechanical transfer case with front, central, and rear differential locks for extreme trail crawling and rock climbing.
Hi4-Z High-Performance Architecture: Pairs the 2.0T engine with dual high-power electric motors (560 kW / 1,195 N·m total), enabling supercar acceleration (0–100 km/h in 4.3 seconds). Equipped with a large 59.6 kWh battery pack, delivering 200 km of CLTC pure electric range and 1,122 km total range.
Off-Road Hardware & Smart Cockpit Retains a rugged non-load-bearing body-on-frame chassis with 38° approach and 33°/34° departure angles, 235 mm ground clearance, Tank Turn (TAB), and Crawl Control (CCO). The interior is upgraded with the Coffee OS 3 intelligent cockpit, Coffee Pilot 2 ADAS with LiDAR, and 6 kW external V2L discharge capability.
